The Wynnum Manly Yacht Club Christmas Party is traditionally focussed on the kids – Santa arrives by boat in the mid afternoon followed by a sausage sizzle etc. This year will incorporate an opportunity for adults to enjoy the music of well known traditional Christmas carols plus a set of light classics and movie themes played by Redland City Band Wind Ensemble starting at 5.00pm at the scenic bay setting of the Royal Esplanade at Manly. Following this at 7.15pm the Redland City Big Band will play for an hour with music for the grown ups – as the sun starts to set.
