Redland City Bands are presenting an afternoon of fantastic musical entertainment featuring the Redland City Concert Band conducted by our Musical Director Mr Peter Francis, the Boonah Concert Band conducted by Mr Simon Francis, the Thomas Cantly Singers conducted by Madonna Forster, and the Mansfield State High School Wind Orchestra conducted by Marg Overs.
The Mansfield High School Wind Orchestra is the premier Concert Band at the school and has been recognised as one of the best high school bands in Australia. The school is a school of excellence in music education. Marg Overs is a graduate of Queensland Conservatorium of Music. She has been head of music at the school for many years and is currently an acting Deputy Principal at the School.
Admission is only $5, with afternoon tea included.
The Hall has plenty of seating available and wheelchair access.
There will be great raffle prizes to be won and a bar available.
